I have my Airbnb calendar synced with my iCal calendar so I can see all bookings at once. It was awesome.
It showed the names of guests for my 3 apartments. My husband helps me and he could always see what guest was coming by their name on iCal calendar. Also my cleaners could see what guest I was talking about by their names on iCal. Now only the Airbnb reservation number shows up , names are gone... this is really unhelpful for me, for my helper and for my cleaners.
PLEASE PUT IT BACK TO SHOWING GUESTS NAMES !!!!
Having this problem too and it is making my locks not sync properly. Very frusturating!!!

If anyone is using the Rental Lock Automater (RLA) app from rboy apps, they have released an update to handle some changes made to the Airbnb calendar. You can find the details on their facebook page and on the smartthings community forum:
I'm just so impressed at how responsive and helpful they've been through this entire ordeal to keep my automations and guests codes working. They simply rock! A big shout out to their support team for getting me though this. I'm glad everything is back to normal now.

All of us have already acknowledged that the issue is fixed. No need to "check in with the team."
The real question is - was this change made (and reverted after realizing reprocussions) due to some new security policy?
Update: Some of the phone numbers have been added back to my feed. However some guests still do not show it, others do. Here is example code from my feed for two bookings one VEVENT with PHONE in the DESCRIPTION field and another without (contact information has been omitted to protect guests identity):
I had opened a ticket on AirBnb support. They were very slow in responding- taking a day or two before I get a respond. Now I just got the following:
“Hi Chantale,
I would like to apprise you that Airbnb does not hold any authority to make changes into third party applications. As mentioned earlier, there was no issue going on with the Airbnb Calendar but the iCal, which is a third party software and sometimes the calendar does not get synced accordingly.
I had shared the screenshots with you wherein I am able to see the dates available and blocked accordingly after reservation has been booked.
I am glad to know that your issue has been resolved.

Unfortunately this shows that the problem is still not understood by many at AirBnB. This has nothing to do with mobile apps. It’s server-side.
