I completed the set-up process and all verification steps, as well as published earlier today.

Welcome!
Your listing may not be visible to guests searching for 24-72hrs. This is intentional, as Airbnb wants Hosts to finish completing the listing before guests can book. There is A LOT more information to add and edit after publishing.
Here is a Guide for New Hosts that explains all the information you need to add:

Thank you so much, Joan — and apologies for my delayed follow-up. I truly appreciate your help. You were absolutely right about the 24–72 hour delay!

Hi @Robert9313 Welcome!
I found your listing no problem.... I did note that it states that your space is for 1 guest.... you may want to confirm that this is what you want...
Best wishes for you new journey!
Regards, Graham

Thank you, Graham, for the warm welcome and kind wishes — and my apologies for the delayed follow-up. I actually found the listing the next morning, well within the 24–72 hour window (not sure how I missed that part of the process expectation!).
I do have a question about your observation regarding the listing stating it’s for one guest. The space is definitely comfortable for 2–3 people, but ideally only for a short stay — no more than five days. It was specifically designed with the comfort of a traveling professional in mind. Also, since I'm in an area that doesn’t allow monthly rentals, I want to avoid ending up in a situation where two guests feel cramped or disappointed after a week.
Do you have any suggestions for how to communicate that clearly and avoid potential misunderstandings?
Bob

Hi @Robert9313 it will be all about how you described your space on listing... and then if "1 guest" means the "Booker" plus one person OR just a single person ie 1 Guest.
When a reservation advice comes thru from Airbnb for 2 people it reports "2 Guests"
When a guest books your place it asks them how many Guests (asked them to select a number from a drop down option.
Just check how you have described your space in the listing. You will need to state 2 Guests.
To change this...
Go to Dashboard
Select Listings
In the Listing Editor, scroll down to Number of Guests and enter 2 in your case..
I hope this helps.
Regards, Graham

@Robert9313 .. one more thing...
In the Listing Editor, if you select Availability.. you can determine the number of days per stay. (eg Min stay 2 nights Max stay 10 nights).
This should address your concerns about long stays.

Hi @Robert9313 ,
As Joan suggested, it may take upto 24-72 hours for a brand new listing to 👉appear in search results👈
Have you updated your calendar or have any blocked dates? This article might help with 👉confirming that guests can find your listing 👈
Please keep us posted if you are facing any issues!

Thank you, Bhumika — and my apologies for the delayed response. It looks like the issue came down to my lack of experience and knowledge in this new endeavor. You've been incredibly kind and helpful, as has everyone who’s responded.
I definitely think I'm going to enjoy being part of this community!
Cheers,
Bob
