I forgot to change the price for February wich is carnival in Brazil . Someone already booked with the low price an also they booked for only 3 nights instead of 5 days wich is usually for carnival week . I want it to cancel , any suggestions?
@Fernando2890 you have a contract with the guest. Own the mistake and learn for the future.
It's your responsibility as the listing owner to set your pricing and minimum number of days before accepting a booking/letting your listing go live @Fernando2890 .
if you cancel you will pay a fine and the dates will be blocked in your calendar as by cancelling you are indicating the dates aren't available.
If you cancel, you will be penallzed by Airbnb and those dates will also be permanently blocked.

Maybe better to keep reservation and learn from mistake.
It was booked for February, still almost two months , even with 2 months cancelation ?
@Fernando2890 . Airbnb will fine you, will impact Superhost and search rankings and guest will complain so I'd keep it (yes its probably happened to us all).
But use Pro Tools to make a new Season called CARNIVAL and set your rules there (min nights, price, check in/out restrictions etc). Make sure you are not ticking the option to carry these prices forward either. Then watch your booking window or just block these dates until you want to take bookings for 2027 Carnival.
With either side of 2026 booked dates try to work out if you can do a quick turnaround if the demand is there and offer lower min nights but higher price. Good luck.
