I am facing this from last 15 days , no resolution from customer care .

I just wanted to understand what is the issue at backend , none is able to help me ,

Done each and every step that chat GPT has suggested or i could get from various sources.

Problem still exists.

Hello @Kim5061 

It must be a generation thing but my first instinct is not to check with chat GPT when I am dealing with anything administrative/official and prefer to check with my local authorities and government or reliable internet sites to verify that I understand all the necessary legislation involved with setting up a short term rental.

Which town are you trying to register your listing in?  I'm sure other hosts from your country will help you but the more information you can give us on where you are at, would help maybe localising the problem you are facing.

Hey Joelle thanks for taking out time and replying! With the help of chatgpt I meant to understand any step of i might have missed,I am clear on taxation part though.

I’ve reached out to several other hosts in my country, and none of them seem to be facing the issue I am. I’ve tried contacting Customer Care multiple times—at least 10 calls—but unfortunately, I have not received any clear explanation or effective support. The only response I’ve received so far is that the issue is still under investigation.

This lack of clarity and assistance is extremely discouraging. I genuinely want to host on Airbnb and have made every effort to get this resolved, but at this point, I’m almost demotivated.Hope if anyone could help here

I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling. So it’s a taxation problem rather than a problem with just how to configure your listing ? 

are you listing as an individual or as a professional?

No nothing in taxation,I am clear on that . In India there is GST and IT ..I am clear here . however, since you asked m registering as an individual.  Unable to publish listing.

Have you checked with your local government to see whether you need a licence .

if you do, maybe that's why you can't make your listing go live @Kim5061
