cancellations

Hi, we have had a number of cancellations for our property in SF. Wondering if others are experiencing this? Because I am wondering if the negative press is affecting people's vacation plans to SF?  Also wondering what others cancellation policy is? Thanks

@Alison1027 If you have a flexible cancellation policy it allows people to look for better/cheaper properties at the last minute. In a depressed market they are more likely to be available hence cancellations. We have a Strict Policy to stop this happening.

@Alison1027 our policy is Strict. Yes we will get fewer reservations with this policy but at least we can pretty much rely on the ones we get.
