deleting a photo

When I hover over the photo I want to delete, no trash can appears.  I am using my lap top.

Every photo has three dots (...) in right-upper corner, click on it for a pull-down menu and choose "delete"

I had tried the three dots many times earlier today and it did not work.  This time it did work.  Thanks for your help.

I have clicked those three dots and there is no option to delete.

Go to your photo's first, Click Edit then you see the gallery...........? 

Two ways to do it as @Emiel1  says click the 3 dots it say there delete I have just tried it, it's right what she says,

the other option is go to the photo and underneath it says Edit again click that and in the bottom left hand corner it says delete photo,
