The steps to unlist my listing temporarily don't appear to be accurate. I am following this guide:

Under the directions (reprinted below:) I see no link for "status" , step 3. Help!!
Unlist your listing indefinitely on desktop
Hello @Robert5458 ,
On the mobile version, go to Listings (bottom center house icon), then Listing Editor. Press the top right preference symbol, which will lead you to Edit Preferences. The first option is Listing Status, where you can toggle between listed and unlisted.
instead, I would like to suggest going to Availability and selecting "Dates unavailable by default" under the Availability Window. This way, your listing remains active but won’t be shown.
I hope this helps.
Hi @Robert5458 ,
I think you are using a browser. It appears that the settings is on the right side of "Arrival guide". After you click the small icon, next page will show the Listing status settings and you will have the option for Unlisting the property.
I hope this helps.
All the best,

thank you, it is indeed the icon to the right of arrival guide. It is so exceedingly painful working with a company like airbnb that makes platform changes willy nilly and then completely abandons their support documentation. Such a terrible platform imo!
Hi @Robert5458, thank you for sharing this here. Just so you know, I have passed your feedback on to the team!
