i cannot find my listing

I created and submitted my listing well over 24 hours ago and still cannot find it in search. How long does it take?

@Brendan237 Your place is definitely live and available for booking. If I search for it though, you're right, it doesn't come up unless you zoom right in on the map. It looks like your area is pretty competitive: there are a lot of Airbnbs. The good news is that as a new host you get a boost in the search results so it should help you get booked. Hopefully you get some guests soon! 

Remember that as guests add filters (calendar dates and other criteria) your place will be more likely to show up in results for them. That will help guests who are a good fit for your listing find it.

ok found it but it is shown on the map a long way from my actual location, right in the middle of an industrial area. I will not get any bookings based on that. I was unable to even find it myself when looking around my own area.

@Brendan237 If you've already verified that your address is entered correctly and the map is still showing the wrong location,  you can call or message Airbnb with the correct GPS coordinates of your place and they can get it changed for you. I would suggest messaging them on Twitter @airbnbhelp.
