Hi,

What are the terms of the contract if someone takes the property for several months? If you agree to a longer term and circumstances change, can you change the term and ask them to leave with say a month's notice?

Although you can use the "change" option on the "long term stay" reservation to shorten (or extend) it, a guest must voluntary agree to such a change.

They have no obligation to accept the change.

If you insist to shorten the reservation, then you need to cancel it, but penalties from AIrbnb will apply.

A "long term stay" is not the same as a renting contract.
