Hi can you change the security deposit for an individual guest stay?  In other words, can you opt to make the security deposit higher or lower than your standard amount on a single reservation? And have it not affect the other reservations? If so how?

@Stephanie2206 Given that Airbnb do not actually collect the security deposit that you define it is somewhat irrelevant to have it let alone change it for a particular reservation.

@Stephanie2206   Any changes that you make to your listing will not affect any bookings that you have, only future bookings.  So if you raise your nightly price, people who are already booked will not see the increase.  If you adjust the fictitious and uncollected security deposit, guest who are already booked will not see that change.  AirBnB appears to be doing away with any mention of a security deposit (because it is fake) so you should stop worrying about it.
