suggested improvement to the Calendar UI

My co-host has inadvertently accepted a booking in a period that I thought I had blocked out for my own use. The only thing that indicates if a date has been blocked is that the price disappears - nice one Airbnb, good job at being vague!

The line across the bottom of the date block shows up when you add a note, but does not indicate that the date is blocked. Confusing? Possibly. Had me fooled.

Could Airbnb please consider enhancing the design of the calendar UI to make a more obvious distinction between available, blocked and beyond the bookable period. The bookings stand out beautifully, but everything else is way too subtle. Some use of colour would be great!

Barry-and -Hayley0, Synch your calendars manually every time you take a booking or block the calendar for any reason . This will not then occur, no matter what color it is... H

As@Helen744 said, best to manually update calendars, not leave it to anyone else. Also best to make any pertinent information on their calendar like whether blocked or not, etc. so all information is in front of you at all time.

Yes, would be great if we can use different colors on it, or can we? The thin faded grey lines is a bit weak. Great suggestion.
