weekly discounts
I have discounts listed under my rule sets section. When I entered the site today, Airbnb listed items that I have not completed. One listed was weekly discounts so I added my discount. Now my question... Will Airbnb add my rule set discount to this across the board discount? if so, how can I eliminate this across the board discount? Thank you for your help. Jennifer

Hi @Jennifer1471 ! Have you gone ahead with applying the weekly discount or check with Airbnb Customer Support team about your question?
I am not quite sure if the articles I'm sharing will help with your situation, but wanted to share them just in case it helped with any relevant information :
I am also reaching out to some of the helpful and experienced Host members who may have some suggestions or solutions for your questions : @John5097 @Zheng49 @Alex1485 . Hope we are able to get better ideas about discounts from them.

I have followed all guidelines that have been given. Even went online and was shocked that prices illustrated were more than 50% higher than my posted rates. On hold to talk to Airbnb representative when I decided to check my prices again. The 2nd and 3rd time I went online my prices were correct.
i do not take for granite that my prices are correct. I check them periodically but fortunately all is correct.
thank you for your help
Jennifer

I believe your recent post stated you’ve solved the problem! Good news…
As we are unfamiliar with the discount functions, as we typically do not offer any discounts, unless the guest is a repeat customer, and then this discount is offered directly in the booking. .
Instead we manage our rates to make sure they are in line with our competition. If find we have an open night, we adjust rates.
Not sure why you want to offer blanket discounts….are you trying to attract guests on a budget?
We offer gourmet appliances, amenities our place is fully stocked as an oasis in the city…,…however, we want our guests to enjoy the area, eat at of the 100 restaurants within a 5 minute walk, sit by the sea, walk in the gardens, tour the historic locations…

I wish I did not feel that I need to offer a discount but every house around me offers discounts. Last year homes that normally rented for 7 night prime and 3 nights off season started renting 3 nights prime and 2 off season. When I bought my house 12 years ago, there were only 3 rentals. Now they are on every corner. Fortunately, I am on water with boat slip and acreage and no mortgage.
Any suggestions would be appreciated as to what I can do. I have over 175 5 star reviews on another site. Like you, I have top of the line amenities for my guest. Furnish everything as well as make personal items for my guests.
