Airbnb protects it's real customer in this virus crisis (and it's not the host).

The Airbnb coronavirus policy does not take hosts into consideration. This is a sad situation for guests, yes,  but the hosts reserved and provided these spaces at our cost for Airbnb guests. The policy should have left some portion (maybe 50%) of  the payment for the hosts who are now left to clean up the mess. Despite the pretend reason about protecting everyone,  it is clear that Airbnb knows that giving the guest full refund will bring back more guests (which is the revenue side of the business for them).

I agree with you.

But i was reading on another site that any new properties listed on airbnb that the all service fees were now billed to the host and no service  fees to the guests. It also stated that current hosts/properties could swap over to this format as well.
