Hosts should not be taking 100% hit for COVID-19--- Many of us hosts had ours homes under Open Homes for people in need. FREE STAYS.

As a host, I am not asking to keep 100% payment from guests who cancelled. All I ask is to keep SOME. It wasn’t the hosts, guests, nor Airbnb’s fault for the current crisis. But, hosts should not be the only ones affected. This hit should just have been distributed somewhat  between hosts, guests and Airbnb.  On top of that- many of us hosts had our homes OPENED for people to stay at our homes for FREE under “Open Homes”. For us it was the wildfires in California, and we had MANY people stay at our properties for FREE. Airbnb could have done a much better job on this. This has hurt the hosts tremendously.
