A booking cancelled by Airbnb

A booking was made for one of our suites last week that I accepted and the booking was confirmed with the guest.

Today I got an email from Airbnb saying the " resevation has been cancelled as it doesn't follow our Term of Service, which means that we are not able to support it".

What does this actually mean ? What would be the reasons that Airbnb would cancel a reservation that was confirmed?

Airbnb does not cancel bookings without a strong reason.

They may had problems collecting money from the guest, they may had previous problems with the guest.

I would take as "you possibly dodged a bullet" situation, and be happy that Airbnb is looking out for you as a host. 🙂
