Airbnb obviously doesn’t care what their hosts or renters think about billionaire co-founder Joe Gebbia working with DOGE to help destroy the livelihoods of working Americans.

If you haven’t already decided to boycott Airbnb, now would be a good time to start. I have rented countless homes on their platform over the years but have switched to Vrbo which offers a nearly identical experience with many of the same hosts as Airbnb. Resistance to the onslaught of Trump/Musk/DOGE attacks on democracy and civil society is vital wherever and however it can be achieved – even on a website as presumably innocuous as Airbnb.

The only thing wealthy, privileged corporate plunderers understand or respect is a threat to their bottom line. Until Airbnb decides to remove Gebbia from their board of directors, hosts and renters must boycott their business otherwise NOTHING will change and we will continue to see the Zuckeberg’s, Bezos’s and Gebbia’s of the world continue to bend the knee and collaborate with the pure evil coming from Trump and the Republican Party. Resistance on EVERY level is vital to counter this blight on our democracy and freedom.
