My name is Ahmed and I live in Cairo. I have been hosting in Airbnb for the last 8 months. Suddenly 2 days ago, I found a guest sending me a message telling me that I cancelled his reservation where I actually didn't. Obviously Airbnb did, and suspended my listing. The thing is I can't find any place where I can know why my account is suspended or at least for how long. I tried to chat with Customer support Few times but every time, my tickets are closed without even sending any message from airbnb side. I tried called the customer support in the US and they didn't hand on any useful information either. Do you know what should I do? or where I can know why I am suspended or at least for how long? My best guess is because my accepting rate has decreased relatively less than the basic requirements. But that because I always get weird requests like people asking me for my location and numbers without even making a reservation which is actually against airbnb but I've never gave attention and reported it. Just declining the request was enough for.. Please guide me and help me if you can.

To minimize the use of "decline":
if you receive "inquiries" : only answer the question, no obligation to decline or pre-approve.
If you receive "booking requests" : obligation to decine or accept, but if the guest wants something which is not compatible with the listing, just ask them to retract the booking request.
Ony Airbnb can tell you why your listings are suspended, keep trying to get an asnwer.
@Emiel1 I keep chatting with them but they keep closing my tickets and an international calls aren’t that useful..any other ideas?
Unfortunately They said the same thing they told me on the call which is that someone will contact me from another team and nobody actually does
unfortunately we can't help you.
So you need to keep trying to get an answer.
