Adding a CO-Host and deleting the Admin

Hi All:  I hired a local property agency to set up my Airbnb listing and manage my property for me.. The agency has just done a re-org and has cut back resources and no longer wants to support the Airbnb Mgmt of our property..  I was able to get them to Add me as a CO-HOST - but the agency remains as the ADMIN since they set up the account and I cant get full access to make any edits to the listing.  They used a software program called "Channel Manager" which links with Airbnb and they claim they cant de-list themselves as Admin from my airbnb home account since it was done via Channel Manager.   I dont want to start over as I will lose the reviews which are all positive.  But I want to be the MAIN host and Add other CO-Hosts and I dont have any editing privileges.  Does anyone have any recommedations??

thanks

Hi @Gary776 hope you are well!

It’s not possible to change a listing admin, so you’d need to create a new listing under your profile- and you’ll then be the admin of that new listing.

@Gary776 as @Paul1255 says, it's against Airbnb's terms of service to transfer an account (listing admin) from one person to another, regardless of what channel management software, if any, has been used. Airbnb requires reviews etc. to remain associated with the host at the time the reviews were left, not the property. I have heard that sometimes big property management outfits get special exceptions, but in general that is the rule.
