Hello, My name is Amin I am very happy to join this community . I am currently in Bahrain and I have a small one-room apartme...
Looks like there's a new glitch: when you click on a host's profile, it says that their property has no reviews yet.
But if you click on the listing, you can see that there are reviews.
Really random, because if you do a search, the number of reviews for the property also shows up on the search results.
Yes all in the hosts world has returned to normal, we have got our reviews back!
But on the subject of glitches, I do have an issue that is bothering me! My mobile phone is an Oppo R9s and about 3 years old.

It's a great phone and does everything I want it to do, battery lasts for days, takes great photos, is fast and the touchscreen a joy to use with lots of user functions.
A month ago when I hit the Airbnb app icon on my screen, I was instructed to log-on and when I tried, I was told that the Airbnb mobile app I was using was no longer supported and I should un-install and download the latest version of the app from Google Playstore. I complied and when I tried to install the updated app, Google playstore said my device was not compatible with the updated app!!......
What th!!!!!
What the hell are we supposed to do? Go out and spend a couple of grand on a new phone every 18 months to satisfy Airbnb's millennial programmers! I can download the latest version of mobile app from every other STR platform, just not Airbnb's!
I had CX on my case for a couple of weeks but that proved fruitless, he just kept coming back to me every few days asking if I still needed help, after he offered no solution....he just wanted to get the ticket closed so he could get paid something!
So I have lost direct access to Airbnb on my phone via mobile app. I can still get into my account by using log-in via Google Chrome, but it is cumbersome and requires many more steps, I can no longer just hit the icon and go straight to my inbox.
Wouldn't it be nice if the programmers could build onto a product and allow for new technology rather than obliterating everything that functioned before a certain date!
Jeeeez, they are like goldfish, every time they turn around, it's a brave new world!
Cheers.......Rob
@Robin4 Don't get me started on phones.......I finally had to buy a modern phone when my bank made it near impossible to operate my account via computer so I had to get a phone with fingerprint recognition. In the bank's case it was security required by a new UK law. Perhaps Airbnb had to change the app to maintain security or perhaps they just changed it for fun. Votes welcome.......
@Mike-And-Jane0 My vote is that the programmers at Airbnb can't fathom how anyone could be using anything but the latest model of phone. And that old geezers who are still using the same phone they bought 3 years ago should really either get with the program and constantly be buying new devices, or hang up their skates 🙂
I noticed the same thing last night while looking at one of my listings via the mobile app. Since I saw that the reviews for the listing were showing up, I didn't give the situation much thought.
