Airbnb Inaction against bad guest

Does anyone think it is normal to have no action from Airbnb against this guest and even promote him by allowing him to write a review and let him keep using Airbnb  platform?

C’nest tout à fait normal ! You’re absolutely right!
I surely know how frustrating you are. Unfortunately, is out of your hand!

Airbnb definitely does not allow third-party bookings. They require the person who made the booking to be the person staying at the property. The host must be aware that third-party bookings are not covered by Airbnb's insurance policy.

As a matter of fact, you did it very well and right. While you notice that is a different person stay your place, immediately refused them to continue to be on your property, request them to refund the key and report the incident to Airbnb or either the local enforcement for trespassing or “intrusion”

Regrettably, Airbnb lack action of the reviews. 

I have a dozen “ third party” booking bad reviews, cause I won’t let them stay.
In my experience, I had reported many times, Airbnb wouldn’t remove the reviews unless the content of the review is violated the review standard system. Nevertheless, the host can respond in the public review state is ‘ third party” booking and the above review is not accurate. 

The host is uncontrollable for “ third party” reviews, yet, the host can flat able to flat and block the profile.
Hopefully, Host Advisory Board members will look into it.

It is crazy how things are going on...

I own +/- 25 properties in Casablanca, Morocco. I am superhost for years.

With my team we are so happy to host and  meet  people from worldwide.

But in the last fews months i faced many incidents that i was not used to with Airbnb guests.

And problem is that Airbnb is not seriously supporting hosts and always tends to guests  side when problems occur. Even when i am not asking for any money ! 🙂

For the last three  months, I had several sauvage parties in my place with almost nothing done from Airbnb support.

I got physically assaulted by two different groups. My assistant too, with other people. My neighbors got assaulted once  by drunk and high people.

I had to  close few properties  from STR because too many problems and complains from neighbors.

I am even sued by some of them...

I also receive plenty of insults through airbnb treads because i have to refuse or i choose to refuse some request. 

When i notice to Airbnb, nothing is done as i see the  same guests,  who previously insulted me, sending new requests few weeks later.

It is the proof that nothing serious is done against those "bad apples".

There is a real problem with few guests behavior and that put all of us in danger, for business but also for our security.

It is so bad to have no support from Airbnb  and even promote those guests and keep them inside the  comunity.

I am seriously thinking about  leaving that Airbnb comunity and this is sad because i had great time here with you guys  ! 😉
