I know this topic may have been discussed ad nauseam, however as Airbnb hosts shouldn't we demand more from a platform that we are supporting?
Over the past few days I have reached out to Airbnb customer support and have only gotten the " we will pass this along to a specialist"...still waiting for the specialist to get back to me. Of note the guest that we had issue with has come and gone.
It feels as if the Airbnb infrastructure- i.e. website etc is functional however the customer service is essentially non-existent.
If anyone has a tip to get ahold of customer support, please share!
Its peak season and no help whatsoever! I have tried to get them on the phone and online.. nothing 😞
@Shterni0 Demand away. It falls on deaf ears. I think Airbnb is aiming for the "Worst Customer Service In The World" award.
I was expecting the worst yesterday when I called for help with a website permission issue that was stopping me from doing any updates to my listing. Well, WAHOO, even though the helpful assistant (I only waited 45 mins, yah, much longer than pre-covid) couldn't solve the problem, I got a call the next day saying that the tech department had looked into it and fixed it. It is a crap shoot to be sure, but I know what it has been like for businesses to get through this crisis. Air BNB has been great to work with in the past, and I will give them a while to get back on track. Oh, and I have had athe long wait, disconnect issue too in the past few months. Ahhhh, but I believe it will get better.
