Airbnb finacially penalisings us for cancelling guests during Nov. 2020 lockdown has this happened to any one else?

We approached guests booked in November and asked them to cancel because of the lockdown. Airbnb are now penalising us financially for asking the guests to do this. Has anone else experienced this, this time round? Because basically they are saying break the current UK law or we'll fine you?!

@Anita-And-Bruce0 The first Customer Service agent said what you are saying. I tried a couple of days later and got a more sensible person (I didn't mention the first call) and they cancelled with no penalties on either side.

I suggest you try and call when Ireland call centres are operating - They seem to be better....
