Airbnb ics file doesn't show bookings past a year from today. Why?

I sync my Airbnb calendar with other channels, however I'm now realizing that I'm at risk of double bookings because Airbnb doesn't export bookings beyond a year from now.  I have bookings greater than a year away and yet, they are not being exported out in their ics file.

 

Why not?  Every other channel I list on exports all bookings and blocked dates in my calendar.  Only Airbnb screws this nice sync by not including bookings beyond 1 year from now.  I asked them and they said "software limitation". 

 

Hidden agenda?
