Airbnb refuses to correct my address

The listing city on my listing is incorrect as Airbnb would only allow me to populate using an address provided by Google maps. When I created the listing almost three years ago, the address in Google maps was wrong and Google maps wouldn’t correct addresses in rural areas. 

I’ve tried for two years and finally got Google maps to correct my address. I contacted Airbnb to correct the address, but they said they couldn’t help me because the original town was too far away. I provided the latitude and longitude and several links to show that the information Airbnb was forcing me to keep on my page was incorrect. The only “solution” they offered was to suggest I create a new listing, ask all future guests to rebook (currently have over a dozen future guests and $10k+ of bookings), and start over on reviews. I’m a super host with nearly 80 5 star reviews. 

I include the correct town in the title of my listing and tell guests where it is located, but people who have been looking for my listing can’t always find it. 

Has anyone had any success in getting Airbnb to actually correct their address? It seems like Airbnb is fine with inaccurate listing locations in rural areas as a lot of listings are incorrect.

@Melissa1851 we got Airbnb to correct the address for one of our apartments but it was difficult and they insisted on contacting every booked guest to tell them of the change even though the place hadn't moved at all. We now have one apartment that is easier to find than the others as locals don't recognise the address of two of the apartments.

Perhaps try and change the address in low season if there is a time you have no bookings. They may be more willing then.
