Airbnb waive fees for first responders

Airbnb waive fees for first responders

Does Airbnb waive their fees for first responders?  I have two traveling nurses who want to stay at my property and are asking me about this.   Does Airbnb have to do this on their end.

@Tyler8   Airbnb doesn't automatically waive fees for first responders, but they do have a fee-reduced system for connecting them with hosts who voluntarily sign up with the frontline program. See here: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/2746/how-do-i-book-a-frontline-stay-as-a-covid19-responder

If you as the host haven't signed on with one of the emergency-response schemes, there won't be an option for guests to book this way. But I'm not sure based on your question - are you looking to host these guests free of charge, or are you just hoping for Airbnb to waive their fee while still submitting you their normal payout?
