I offered Moderate Policy on my listing. All the bookings for April and part of March was cancelled due to the Coronavirus, but they were cancelled outside the Moderate Policy time window, am I covered by the 25% cancellation support fund? I read on one your article that flexible and moderate policy bookings are not covered, which doesn't seem to be reasonable and fair......

No, @Julia1126, you're due 25% of zero (as per your policy). So that means you don't get any of the payout. If you'd have been strict you would have qualified.

I summarize what the social media hosts are concluding
The 25% payment due cancelations
1.- First they will attend to the guests of the United States
2.- Then everyone else, but they have not said when
3.-They will pay 25% of the canceled reservation (within your cancellation policy)
Example 1 - Strict cancellation. Guest canceled due to coronavirus with the strict cancellation policy, so 100% was returned
Let's say that the Guest paid 200 euros and 200 euros are returned, but according to your cancellation policy it was a 50% refund, that is to say, 100 euros for the guest and 100 euros for you
As Airbnb returned everything without asking the host and since we all got angry, now Airbnb is paying Only 25% of what Airbnb suppose to pay you initially, so if you suppose to get 100 euros, Airbnb would only pay you 25 euros

Example Moderate Cancellation.
Guest Cancel before 5 days, so 100% will be returned and you get 0 euros, so they pay you 25% of 0 euros.
Flexible Cancellation Example Guest canceled one day before check-in, so 100% will be returned From this and you got 0 euros, so they pay you 25% of 0 euros.
As it stands no you will not receive anything but it is a ludicrously unfair scheme and if we make enough noise about it they may change their minds
Covid cancellations are killing us all so if they want to offer support everyone should benefit, not just a few, there is no moral logic to it at all other than minimising their liabilities with a handy device (bookings policies)
any cancellations due to the virus that aren’t re-booked should be applicable...if this is unaffordable then lower the percentage and allow everyone to benefit with at least something...as it stands it is grossly unfair
It is obvious that they didn't want all hosts to be benefited from this 25% cancellation support fund. Flexible and Moderate hosts are probably the majority. So what did they do? encourage guests to cancel their reservations ahead so that the moderate/flexible cancellation policy didn't apply.
At least they could share part of the financial interest that they have earned from our guests' payments
