Any news on extending the Extenuating Circumstances dates?

Any developments on Airbnb's extenuating circumstances cancellation policy? As far as I understand it runs until May 15 for hosts and June 15 for guests? I've cancelled all of my guests for June but now I need to cancel my own travels that were due to start on June 16......one day after the free cancellation deadline. Is Airbnb planning on extending this deadline? Anyone know?

I too have a reservation booked for June 16 but have been told I'll need to wait for more information, @John2654. I understand Brian is sharing a video update tomorrow and we'll get an update to the EC policy on Friday.

Fingers crossed and all that.
