Beginning Co-hosting

Hello everyone!

I am looking to begin co-hosting in my area to help get some income going and get my toes into the Airbnb waters- does anyone have any advice on how to get started, make connections and/or how best to reach out to hosts to offer my services?

For reference, I am located in Ontario, Canada in the beautiful Norfolk County area!

Hi Gabby, 

I reached out to a couple of people via wanted ads looking for a cleaner and another looking to rent a house for a few months. I’ve made in-roads with them and now cohost for both as well as for another friend.

I reached out to another host through AIRBNB for a property that impressed me but she wasn’t interested at that time.  
The person who posted the ad for the cleaner didn’t hire me right away, I was actually the second hire after a year but she is actually now my best friend and I cohost and property manage for her. So, my point is, check alternative sources to AIRBNB, as well as AIRBNB for properties you want to manage.  Never know what what you can achieve.
