Booking disappeared - not showing in 'My Trips'

HI there 

 

I've recently paid the remainder for my booking (via PayPal) but now I can't see the booking in My Trips.  The host has confirmed that there is a  booking for the dates I booked under someone with the same name as mine - but they say it's with a different account (which they can't disclose).  All my previous messages to the host have disappeared as well. 

 

Has anyone else experienced disappearing bookings ?

Is it possible you might have two accounts, @James2394, and you've inadvertently logged in to the wrong one? If not, I'm afraid it's going to be a call to customer services.

That was suggested by Air BnB (and it's a fair call) but I've tried both emails - and nothing shows in either account.   The weird things is, I've paid for the booking (which is showing in PayPal) and the only way I can have done this is via the Air BnB App.

if you have the reservation code you might be able to get Airbnb to confirm the email under which the reservation was made if what @Gordon0 said was the case.
