Bookings over holiday period

Hi everyone--my wife and I are new to AirBNB  this year--so far things have gone pretty smoothly but we are wondering if anyone has tips on bookings over holiday periods--our property is located on a river in rural North East Tasmania--5 minutes from the ocean--we would like to give people/families the chance to book for a week or so over Christmas and New Year--we have just had a request for 2 days Jan 29-31--where person wasnt even sure if they would be travelling at that time

We get COVID etc and things change--but do we block of our calendar until Sept as an example--give discounted rate for longer stays etc

If there is a period of time such as holiday time, that you wish to require different booking rules, such as a longer minimum stay, you can specify that under trip length under pricing and availability.  Just add custom length of stay.   Hope this helps.

@Ian30302 We have rule sets over holiday periods that force guests to book a minimum of a week starting on a Saturday so that we maximise our revenue and minimise downtime.

you will need to switch on pro tools to get the ability to do this.
