For the 2nd time in 2 weeks my calendar has been BLOCKED because an unverified guest with zero reviews has attempted to book my listing. I turned off instant booking after a guest (2nd guest ever) trashed my house, took drugs and dogs in my house. It was horrendous. Now because I’ve taken instant booking off guest have to request to stay however 2 guests have tried to book who aren’t verified correctly so AIRBNB have blocked the days they’ve requested for 12 hours giving this guest time to verify themselves hence stopping other potential guests and income. I’ve spoken to Airbnb customer services and they’ve agreed that it’s unfair and their system is limited BUT they cannot do anything to FIX the system.
mum sure the owners of Airbnb wouldn’t like it if their business was closed down for 12 hours and would soon get the GLITCH fixed if it happened to them BUT if they don’t know there is a problem how can they fix it? Customer services are POWERLESS. They wouldn’t work FOC for 12 hours so why is my business closed down for 12 hours. Has
