Canceled by you --- but i did not cancel it !!! what to do
I saw today i had a cancelation made by me? but i did not cancel it ... client made a mistake on dates and i said change or come or cancel but i never cancel due to the fees.
I called Airbnb and i got lucky i had a decent person who helped me ... he said there were no bugs reported but i was sure i did not cancel... i would be too stupid to do so ... it would be your luck but make them read the messages between you and your client and make them see you did not do it and report the bug in Airbnb ... i got my calendar open and fees waved but still i am not happy that i had that and i got really stress
@Vane1717 Did you by any chance get a notice saying the guest wants to cancel, asking for you to accept or decline the cancellation? If you did that is registered as a host cancellation. You should always decline those, even if you are amenable to the cancellation. The guest can go ahead and cancel on their own.
If you didn't get a notice like that, it sounds like it was a tech glitch. In any case, I'm glad tohear you got a helpful rep who reversed it.
