Cancellation Policy 2020

I have seen on my dashboard, that air are stating that we can cancel bookings for 2020, made before 14 March 2020, at no penalty, as long as they are cancelled by 15 May 2020. I contacted support about it, but could not get a clear answer. I was just told ... ‘it would depend on the reservation and would enquire investigation of when the reservation had been booked etc.’

I couldn’t get them to elaborate. What I want to do is cancel all air 2020 bookings and take my chances on re-letting either direct, or via other agents. I am still recovering from covid-19 and the the stress of having to second guess air’s constant re-writing cancellation policy, cleaning policy (based on wrong science) and moving the goal posts every other week, to justify their original appalling treatment of owners, is wearing me down. Although this could cost me up to £20k on top of the approximately £10k from the first load of cancellations, I feel it is worth the risk for some certainty. At least I know that any bookings taken from now are done at shared risk and not just at mine, as would my guests.

@Graeme48 yes, you can now cancel all your 2020 reservations without penalty. Previously the deadline was 4/30, now extended to 5/15.
