With regards to the ongoing corona virus scare, if we decide to cancel our reservation on april 4-8 at Singapore, can we get a full refund?

In the meantime, Airbnb has published a list of countries and areas where cancellation is free of charge if the guest comes from there or the Airbnb accommodation is located there.
But if this is not the case, Airbnb support will not help.
I myself am a host in Asia and I have many cancellation requests. Airbnb itself leaves us hosts and also the guests quite alone in this matter. A guest who wishes to cancel due to the Corona Hysteria is subject to the regular cancellation policy of the booking. Unless the above-mentioned exception applies. Whether he/she will then receive a full refund is solely up to the host. This often leads to unpleasant discussions between host and guest.
