Cancellations

Can someone please help? I had a guest who was booked in before 15th July - We had to cancel as no bookings before 15th July (im in Scotland) She has tried to rebook for 15th July but dates are blocked because it says I cancelled the dates. How do I unblock the dates.... Does this mean I will lose my Superhost too?

@Meg1162 You are going to have to contact Airbnb about this and they will likely want documentation as to why you couldn't host. Anytime you cancel a reservation yourself, you will get penalties of the dates being blocked and you can't unblock them yourself. Although hosts were supposed to be able to cancel reservations due to COVID restrictions.

They are not counting cancellations for the July Superhost assessment.

@Meg1162  There is a large pinned post on the first page of this Help Forum- "Contact Airbnb". It has phone numbers, you can also contact them through their Twitter account, and on the website, you go to the "Help" section, then follow the prompts and drop-down boxes until you get to a "contact us" message box. 

There are apparently long wait times for responses right now, though, as they just laid off 1900 employees.
