Cannot use Rule Sets for particular days only, and still use Smart Pricing

i would like to use the Rule Sets with Smart pricing still turned ON for the listing. I know that a Rule set won't work if Smart pricing is on , however why can't it work when you turn off Smart Pricing for particular days via your multi calendar?

For example, if I want to reduce a listing's pricing for 5 days in September, I turn off Smart Pricing and use a manual price. When you use the Rule set for those days, even though you've turned it off, it doesn't work. Too make it work , you have to go to the listing and turn Smart Pricing Off for the entire 365 days of the year ( answering many questions stating why you having decided to do this, with no one question stating that it's because you want to use Rule Sets.

I have told the support team this , and they generally do not know you have to do this to make it work for particular days.
