[Celebration] Connecting with Hosts of Experiences in Delhi

What a fantastic day we had at our meetup for Hosts of Experiences in Delhi on October 7! Dozens of Hosts gathered to connect, learn, and take part in several Experiences offered by local Hosts.It was a jam-packed, immersive festival that brought our community closer together.  

🧘‍♀Morning zen: 

We started the day with an outdoor yoga session led by Host Kapil. This time to learn and move set the tone for our meetup.

  

🏡 Villa vibes: 

After yoga, we stayed at an Airbnb, a villa in the vibrant Hauz Khas Market neighborhood. The villa blended modern design with cultural influences, and had open spaces ideal for socializing and relaxation. Its lively and inviting atmosphere made the space feel like a destination itself, contributing to the overall success and fond memories of our event. 

 💬 Knowledge exchange: 

I facilitated a Host discussion on various topics, including reviews, the Experience Host dashboard, customer support, and much more. One of the most valuable parts of these meetups is hearing from Hosts about their experiences and tips.

🎶 Musical interlude: 

The enchanting melodies of classical Indian music echoed through our meetup. Shreya shared her talents on the tanpura, a stringed instrument, and Manu’s skilled hands danced across the tabla, a percussive instrument. We celebrated our shared passion for hosting and meeting new people with the universal language of music. 

👩‍🍳 Culinary adventure: 

We went to Neha’s home and enjoyed cooking and eating a delicious Indian meal. Neha showed us how to make samosas in her open-terrace kitchen. We even had a friendly cooking competition among the Hosts. Bonding over food is one of the best ways to foster connections. 

🗣 Sharing is caring: 

Hosts provided valuable feedback and insights on how to further improve the Airbnb platform and create rewarding Experiences for guests and Hosts. As a member of the Host Advisory Board,I look forward to taking this information back to Airbnb.  

👥 Strong attendance:

We were delighted to have 30 Hosts join the meetup, each contributing in their own unique way. Some came for the entire day, while others stopped by for specific activities. We understand it can be a bit hectic with multiple locations and live experiences, but the results were absolutely worth it!  

This wasn’t just a meetup but an unforgettable experience that strengthened our Host community.
