City of San Francisco pending short term registration backlogs result in cancellations

My short term rental certificate is pending and I have the city's permission in an email to continue hosting while the renewal is in progress. Without any warning, ALL of my bookings are cancelled. The city of San Francisco is completely disconnected from Airbnb's platform, and both parties have willingly acknowledged this to me via email. I've lost thousands of dollars of carefully curated bookings over months of time. I lost my full time job last year and have been dependent on Airbnb bookings to sustain my mortgage until I find another source of income, so this has been a particularly devastating blow. Unfortunately, I have to sell my condo as a result. Prior to my cancellations, I had several guests frantically booking with me because their stays were cancelled in a similar fashion. No blame here, but curious is anyone else in the same boat?
