Community Notifications counter

Today i noticed the "notifications counter" in my community account has a limit: it stops counting at 101.

Not an important fact, but i just wondered: why stopping and why at 101 ?

Do you mean "notification feed"? 
I can not see any "notification counter".
Can you put a screenshot  of it?

It is the notifications counter in the community software (counting actions like thumbs up received, replies, be mentioned in a post, etc. ) . At top-right of screen it is shown in white digits on red background if you hoover over your community profile. It stops counting at 101.
