Contact host before we book

Hi! Can you contact a host before you book a reservation? I tried to send a message but it looks like I need to book it first. When i try to send a message its asking for my reservation or a cc. Thanks!

Of course you can - just send them an inquiry if the information you need to decide whether to book  is not on their listing @Erin5920
