So if I have a full refund policy - to be flexible towards guests- does this mean I get no compensation from Airbnb under their “help hosts” policy!!! I had a number of Booking’s cancel because of Covid and have absolutely no income - any ideas - I feel it is not clear and only those with strict cancellation policies will benefit - I hope I’m wrong
@MaryJane8 I am afraid you are right.If you allow guests to cancel for free up to the day before arrival then Airbnb will let them do so and will not compensate you in any way.
Assuming your property is properly registered for business rates there is a £10,000 grant available to you from the UK Government.
