Hello South Florida ️️…My name is Britt!! After years of adventurous travels across the country as a retail executive, I eage...
What are my options .
Horrible smell in my guest suite wafting up from the bathroom .
Definitely something dead and I have guests arriving on Saturday .
The bloke had a look last night with a torch but couldn’t see anything.
We live near the river and so do have traps .
I’m fine with picking them up but not crawling in dark spaces with spiders. Google says three weeks for complete decomposition.
I feel I will have to cancel the guests.
I guess it’s not extenuating circumstances huh?
@Ria16 You poor dear. Can you pay someone to crawl under there? If the dead thing can be located, if you cover it in lime powder (not the fruit, lime that you use to alkalanize soil) it will stop it from smelling and decompose it quickly.
You say it's wafting up from the bathroom. Have you checked the shower drain? Maybe a rat or some other little critter got in there and died.
@Sarah977 Thank you.
Trying to find a tradie, have also just messaged the guests to give them the heads up that I may have to cancel .
