Technical issues can always occur, your issue was indeed reported also by other people.
i have bookmarked some URL's which provide direct access to major functions on the platform. It helped me sometimes in case of problems.
Here is a selection for the website (based on domain ".com" , but change this in the URL's for the local Airbnb domain you use, for example ".fr" for France or ".co.uk" for UK etc..):
