Extenuating

Extenuating

Its about time to show some support to hosts in light of the current Wuhan Virus crisis by at least circulating a announcement indicating any changes in airbnb's review of the 'extenuating circumstances' policy.
While the entire world deliberates the issue at hand, should'nt Airbnb's revisit of the 'extenuating circumstances clause' be
shared and made known to all hosts?
Given that China has a large number of guests travelling overseas at this particular season, surely in times of a crisis as such, cancellation issues will arise and hosts should be first made aware of Airbnb's new overriding policies that surpasses the now defunct extinuating circumstances clause, link below :

Am sure there are many hosts who would welcome the reassurance from Airbnb that hosts are as fairly protected as guests are during these trying times.
It is quite dissapointing to note of the sudden changes to Airbnb's
'extenuating circumstances policy', withoutAirbnb first informing hosts by way of a internal circular the new guidelines Airbnb have recently set I believe stays in place until April 1st allowing all guests not just guests from China to override cancellation policies just by mentioning the virus by name. lts happened to me and will happen to all hosts. Time to move on!
