Our home
As Hosts, we know how important our home is to us and how important it is to make people who've come from far away feel welcome and make their stay unforgettable. Sharing a space that's so important to us with someone by opening our doors and welcoming them is something we do every day as hosts.
We know how important it is to take good care of our home. We always look after it, take care of it and check that everything works well, clean it on a regular basis, and make sure everything is neat and tidy.
The same goes for the planet we call home, this place that's so important to us and to be cared for, looked after and kept clean. Sometimes we get annoyed with guests who leave the house in a mess and full of rubbish; and the same is true of our home, the Earth.
Earth isn't just our home, it's the home we share with hundreds of animal and plant species, and each one fulfils its function to keep our home in perfect working order. Trees provide us with oxygen, among other things, whales have their incredible way of bringing minerals and nutrients to our coasts, and bees pollinate and bring life on every trip they take. Every living thing on Earth does their bit but, when it comes to the most amazing species capable of performing extraordinary tasks for the smooth running of our home, we stop and think for a second.

It's crucial that we reflect and seriously analyse how much impact the solutions we've thought of to this day might have, so that we as hosts can contribute to keeping our wonderful home running. Lots of ideas have been put forward, and lots of action has been taken, but has it really provided a result that seriously impacts the future of our way of life?
I'm convinced that our love for our home and community will lead us to even more solutions and action to achieve our goal โ not forgetting all the work that's already been done!
