Free online Olympic experience with love from the Airbnb Community Center!

Since when is it appropriate for "Stephanie, Online Community Manager" or any other Admin personnel to private message hosts about events totally unrelated to hosting as in, silly Olympic experiences?!

@Donald-and-Frank0  The offer was a free pass to a paid experience, but there was no obligation attached if it wasn't your cup of tea.

If you're frequently active in these forums, the moderators may occasionally invite you to participate in an online group activity or focus group for research purposes, and sometimes they just offer something as a gift because people might enjoy it. I see no harm in it personally, but if you'd rather not receive invitations from the Admin, you can ask them not to contact you and I have no doubt they'd respect your wishes.

I have no problem with any ads moderators might want to post to promote things and to generate income. I do object to being private messaged with stuff. I think it's an inappropriate use of private messaging.

@Donald-and-Frank0   May this be the greatest of your worries.

@Donald-and-Frank0 Bah humbug I say.

Oh, very clever retort! I expect wit from Brits! Very disappointing.
