Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

 Hi Elisa, I manage the advertisements for my property, with valuable assistance from my family in the Philippines. I have a dedicated team of agents and a cleaning crew, and we maintain effective communication through technology.

I visit my property annually to ensure everything is in order. Currently, I have temporarily paused rentals due to ongoing renovations and a long-term lease agreement. However, I have observed a significant increase in competition within the Philippine rental market. As a result, my advertisement on Airbnb has become less visible.

While I strive to remain competitive, I find it challenging to continually lower my daily rates, as I have numerous bills to cover, and the current rental income is insufficient to meet these expenses. 

I remain hopeful that I will be able to successfully rent out here in Airbnb

I'm Alessia, an Italian painter living between Copenhagen and Gran Canaria 😁 my love for surfing brought me to live in Gran Canaria for a while, and my love for art brought me to discover the Scandinavian countries. I'm from Beirut Lebanon a place on the Mediterranean sea home to the Phoenicians.

Lebanon is home of the world's oldest civilizations, including cities 1500 BC like Byblos, Tyre, Sidon and Baalbek.

I'm exited to be volunteering as a leader in our local community! hosting isn't about providing a place to stay --it's about creating meaningful experiences, sharing Lebanese culture and supporting each other as hosts.

Thank you dear, I'm glad to be part of this community and to lead as a volunteer .

I started hosting since 2018 on Airbnb, and use to work in the MPA(Marine Protected Area)  and the Lebanese Environment Forum as a volunteer .

we use to host a group of people on monthly basis for 5 to 10 days let them participate in beach, river, and forest cleanups.

-Assisting in reforestation projects and tree planting campaigns. 

-Engaging with local communities to promote eco-friendly practices .

-Assisting with event planning and coordination 

-Managing volunteer schedules and communications   

-Fundraising and seeking sponsorships for environmental projects .

knowing that during the gathering it includes water activities Hike, bike rides, live cooking and traditional events and BBQ music singing and caving .
