Helping a friend find find a place near San Antonio Texas

Hi Everyone - I don't know if this is allowed, I am sorry if it isn't.  I have a dear friend who has never used Airbnb.  Her husband, son and her are going to  Lackland, TX to visit her daughter who is in the service.  They want to stay near the base but have been told to "Stay away (far) from anything on or around military drive. Generally speaking, look for properties north of hwy 90 and on the outside of the 410 loop. To be near Lackland, this restricts you to Marbach, Potranco, Culebra, and Bandera rds."  I advised her to read reviews on the places she looks at, but I feel she needs more reassurance.  Can anyone give me advice on areas around there that would be safe as well as affordable?  Thanks in advance.

@Mary696  you're absolutely correct stay away from military I have an Airbnb that is actually west of 1604 it is 10 to 15 minutes from Lackland in a very safe neighborhood  airbnb.com/h/malachi-properties-llc
