Host not accepting any date change

My host continues to reject any change in dates as I believe they want to sell the property and won’t be able to

accommodate any date change- this was not mentioned in their policy and that’s the reason I had also booked. 

host wants to sell the property because the law in Hawaii will change - which is not in my hands. Airbnb is not leveraging Extenuating policy which is mentioned - what should I do?

@Raghu10 Hosts are not required to accept date changes if it doesn't suit them. If your reason for wanting to change (cancel) falls within Extenuating Circumstances than call Airbnb and ask them to cancel accordingly.
