Host refused to cancel regardless of Covid-19

I have booked in Feb for a place in Fullerton in May and paid in full. I can't travel to US because most of flights are cancelled because of Covid-19. I have tried to cancel the booking but the host refused to accept my cancellation.

What should I do?

Is it possible to ask my daughter to stay at that place as she stays in US? or is it possible to change my reservation to Winter?

The chances are, @Hengky0, Airbnb will update their policy to include May. Keep an eye on the front page. I don't see C19 gone in May. Do you?
